Description

These Turkey Sliders are a delicious and easy-to-make meal or appetizer featuring Hawaiian rolls filled with thinly sliced deli turkey and Swiss cheese, topped with a buttery, savory glaze seasoned with Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, and everything bagel seasoning. Perfectly baked to warm through and melt the cheese, they are great for gatherings or casual meals.

Ingredients

Scale

Main Ingredients

  • 12 Hawaiian rolls
  • ¾ pound thin-sliced deli turkey
  • ¾ pound thin-sliced Swiss cheese

Butter Glaze

  • ½ cup unsalted butter (1 stick)
  • ½ tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • ½ tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • ½ tablespoon everything bagel seasoning

Instructions

  1. Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F. Line a 9×13-inch casserole dish with foil and spray the bottom with nonstick spray to prevent sticking.
  2. Prepare Rolls: Without separating the rolls, slice them in half horizontally. Place the bottom half of the rolls into the prepared casserole dish to form the base layer.
  3. Layer Turkey and Cheese: Evenly layer the thin-sliced deli turkey over the bottom halves of the rolls, then add a layer of thin-sliced Swiss cheese on top of the turkey.
  4. Add Top Rolls: Place the top halves of the Hawaiian rolls over the cheese layer to form sliders.
  5. Make Butter Glaze: Melt the unsalted butter in a microwave-safe bowl or on the stovetop. Stir in Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, and everything bagel seasoning until well combined.
  6. Brush Glaze: Generously brush the butter mixture over the tops of the assembled rolls. Let the rolls sit for 5 minutes to absorb some of the glaze.
  7. Bake Sliders: Cover the casserole dish with foil and bake for 30 to 35 minutes until the sliders are warmed through and the cheese is melted. Remove the foil during the last 5 minutes of baking to allow the tops to brown slightly.
  8. Serve Warm: Remove from the oven and serve the turkey sliders warm for the best flavor and texture.

Notes

  • For a party appetizer, serve 1-2 sliders per person. For a main meal, plan on about 3 sliders per person.
  • Store leftover sliders in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days or freeze for up to 3 months.
  • You can substitute Swiss cheese with provolone or cheddar if preferred.
  • If you want extra flavor, add a layer of caramelized onions or pickles before the top rolls.
