Description

Melted Snowman Cookie Dough Bites are adorable no-bake holiday treats featuring edible cookie dough balls dipped in white chocolate ganache, topped with Oreo hats, Rolos, and festive sprinkles. Perfect for a sweet winter snack or festive party dessert.

Ingredients

Scale

Cookie Dough

  • 2 cups store-bought or homemade edible cookie dough

Decorations

  • 9 mini Oreos
  • 18 Rolo chocolate candies
  • 18 snowflake sprinkles (optional)
  • Black pearl sprinkles (for eyes and mouth)
  • Orange pearl sprinkles (for nose)

Ganache

  • 2 cups (240 g) white chocolate chips
  • 2 Tbsp coconut oil

Instructions

  1. Freeze cookie dough: Portion cookie dough into 1-Tbsp scoops on a parchment-lined baking sheet, totaling 18 scoops. Freeze until very firm, about 10 to 15 minutes.
  2. Prepare Oreos: Separate the mini Oreos and scrape off the frosting, setting the cookies aside for assembly.
  3. Melt ganache: In a medium heatproof bowl, microwave white chocolate chips and coconut oil in 15-second increments, stirring between each, until smooth and melted, about 45 seconds to 1 minute.
  4. Form ganache bases: Spoon 18 rounds of ganache, approximately 1 inch in diameter, onto a parchment-lined baking sheet. Reserve extra ganache for dipping and assembling.
  5. Assemble hats: Dip the smaller end of each Rolo candy into the remaining ganache. Attach the dipped end to the flat side of each Oreo to form a snowman hat. If using, dip a snowflake sprinkle in ganache and place it at the rim where the Oreo meets the Rolo.
  6. Dip cookie dough balls: Roll each frozen dough scoop into a smooth ball. Using a fork, dip one dough ball into the ganache to coat, then gently press it onto a ganache round on the baking sheet. Before the chocolate sets, decorate by attaching two black sugar pearls as eyes, 3 to 4 black pearls in a semicircle as the mouth, one orange pearl as the nose, and place the Rolo and Oreo hat on top.
  7. Chill and set: Repeat with the remaining dough balls. Let the chocolate set completely before serving, about 15 to 20 minutes.

Notes

  • Use edible cookie dough safe to eat raw; avoid dough containing raw eggs.
  • Substitute coconut oil with butter or any neutral oil if preferred.
  • For a different look, swap Oreos and Rolos with other mini cookies and chocolates.
  • Store finished cookie bites in the refrigerator to keep ganache firm and cookie dough fresh.
  • Let the white chocolate ganache cool slightly before dipping to avoid melting the dough balls too quickly.
