Description

A comforting twist on traditional lasagna using ramen noodles layered with savory tomato sauce and a blend of parmesan and mozzarella cheeses, baked to bubbly perfection.

Ingredients

Scale

Ramen Lasagna

  • 4 packets ramen noodles, discard flavor packet
  • 4 cups tomato sauce, divided
  • 2 cups grated parmesan cheese, divided
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese, divided

Instructions

  1. Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F and grease an 8-x-8-inch casserole dish with baking spray. Place the dish on a baking tray and set aside.
  2. Prepare Noodles: Take each square of ramen noodles and break them in half through the middle to create smaller pieces suitable for layering.
  3. First Layer: Place one layer of broken ramen noodles evenly on the bottom of the casserole dish. Spread 2 cups of tomato sauce over the noodles, then sprinkle with 1 cup of grated parmesan cheese and 1 cup of shredded mozzarella cheese.
  4. Second Layer: Repeat the layering process by adding the remaining broken ramen noodles on top, followed by the rest of the tomato sauce, parmesan cheese, and mozzarella cheese.
  5. Bake: Place the casserole dish in the preheated oven and bake for 30 minutes until the sauce is bubbling and the cheese is fully melted and golden.
  6. Serve: Allow the ramen lasagna to cool slightly before serving immediately to enjoy the comforting layers of flavor.

Notes

  • Use no-boil ramen noodles as they soften during baking, but ensure they are broken into smaller pieces for even layers.
  • For a meaty version, consider adding cooked ground beef or sausage between layers.
  • You can substitute tomato sauce with marinara or your favorite pasta sauce for extra flavor.
  • Allow the lasagna to rest for 5-10 minutes after baking for easier slicing and serving.
