Description
This Oreo Fudge recipe is a deliciously creamy and easy-to-make treat combining white chocolate chips, sweetened condensed milk, and chopped Oreos. Perfect for a quick sweet snack or dessert, it requires only a few ingredients and minimal hands-on time, with a satisfying Oreo crunch in every bite.
Ingredients
Scale
Main Ingredients
- 1 can sweetened condensed milk, 14 oz
- 2 ¾ cups (468 g) white chocolate chips
- 10 Oreos, chopped
- A few additional broken Oreos for topping
- ⅛ tsp salt
- ½ tsp vanilla extract
Instructions
- Prepare the pan: Line a square 8 or 9 inch baking dish with aluminum foil, making sure the foil extends up the sides. Set aside for easy removal of the fudge later.
- Combine ingredients: In a glass microwave-safe bowl, mix the sweetened condensed milk and white chocolate chips together using a spatula until combined.
- Microwave mixture: Heat the mixture on full power for 1 minute. Do not microwave longer to avoid scorching the chocolate. After microwaving, stir until the chocolate chips have completely melted and the mixture is smooth.
- Add flavorings: Stir in the chopped Oreos, salt, and vanilla extract until evenly distributed throughout the fudge mixture.
- Transfer to pan: Pour and spread the fudge evenly in the prepared pan. Press additional broken Oreos into the top if desired for extra texture and decoration.
- Set the fudge: Let the fudge set at room temperature on the counter for at least 4 hours or preferably overnight. You can loosely cover the top with foil while it sets.
- Serve and store: Once firm, cut the fudge into 25 squares. Store the fudge in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 1-2 weeks.
Notes
- Be careful not to overheat the white chocolate in the microwave to prevent burning or grainy fudge.
- If you want a firmer fudge, refrigerate after setting for quicker solidification.
- Use good-quality Oreos for best flavor, and feel free to customize with different Oreo varieties for fun variations.
- For easier removal, gently lift the foil out of the pan once the fudge is set before cutting.
- Store in an airtight container to keep fudge fresh and avoid moisture.
