Description

Chocolate Peppermint Grahams are a festive and delightful treat featuring graham crackers dipped in smooth milk chocolate and white chocolate, then sprinkled with crushed peppermint candy canes. Perfect for holiday gatherings or a sweet snack, these no-bake treats combine the classic crunch of grahams with refreshing peppermint and creamy chocolate.

Ingredients

Scale

Chocolate Coating

  • 11 ounce package milk chocolate, melted
  • 11 ounce package white chocolate, melted

Other

  • 4 peppermint candy canes, crushed
  • 24 graham cracker squares or 12 full size crackers

Instructions

  1. Melt Milk Chocolate: Place the milk chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl and heat for 30 seconds. Stir and continue heating in 30-second intervals, stirring in between, until the chocolate is smooth and fully melted, about 90 seconds total.
  2. Dip Graham Crackers in Milk Chocolate: Dip one end of each graham cracker square into the melted milk chocolate, then lay them on parchment paper to set. Repeat with all crackers.
  3. Allow Milk Chocolate to Set: Let the chocolate coating on the grahams harden at room temperature or refrigerate for about 15 minutes for faster setting.
  4. Melt White Chocolate: Using the same method as the milk chocolate, melt the white chocolate in the microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring until smooth.
  5. Dip Opposite End in White Chocolate and Add Peppermint: Dip the opposite end of each graham cracker into the melted white chocolate and immediately sprinkle with crushed peppermint candy canes. Place back on the parchment paper.
  6. Allow White Chocolate to Set: Allow the white chocolate and peppermint topping to set completely at room temperature or refrigerate for 15 minutes.

Notes

  • Use Ghirardelli candy melts for easy melting and no tempering required, with excellent flavor.
  • For quicker chocolate setting, refrigerate the dipped graham crackers for about 15 minutes.
  • Store finished treats in an airtight container at room temperature or in the refrigerator for a colder texture.
  • Crush candy canes by placing them in a plastic bag and using a rolling pin; kids enjoy helping with this step.
  • Substitute dark chocolate for milk chocolate to suit your taste preferences.
  • Try chocolate graham crackers, saltine crackers, or Ritz crackers for different flavor twists.
