Instructions
- Beat Cream Cheese: Using a medium size mixing bowl and a handheld mixer on medium-high speed, beat the softened cream cheese for 1 minute until smooth.
- Add Condensed Milk: Add the sweetened condensed milk and continue mixing for 1 more minute until completely combined.
- Add Kool-Aid: Sprinkle the unsweetened black cherry Kool-Aid mix into the mixture and mix until the color is uniform throughout.
- Mix in Cool Whip: Add the thawed Cool Whip and mix on low speed until the pie filling is well incorporated and creamy.
- Fill Crust: Spoon the pie filling evenly into the pre-made graham cracker crust, spreading it smoothly.
- Chill Pie: Cover the pie and chill it in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours until set.
- Slice and Garnish: After chilling, slice the pie into 8 pieces. Using a decorator’s bag or a quart-size Ziploc bag with a small corner snipped off, pipe extra Cool Whip around the edges of each slice.
- Add Cherries: Place one maraschino cherry on top of each Cool Whip swirl. Keep the pie chilled until ready to serve.
